Wanted: Theft of DVDs; theft of jeans
Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department are looking for a man wanted in connection with a robbery at a store in Levittown.
According to police, at 8:04 p.m. on Aug. 23 the suspect took a number of DVDs from Target at 3850 Hempstead Tpke. When the suspect was confronted by a store security officer, the suspect allegedly struck the officer in the face and fled, leaving the DVDs behind. The suspect is described as being in his late 40s and 5-foot-9, with a heavy build.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are looking for three people in connection with the theft of several pairs of jeans from a store in Huntington Station.
According to police, at 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 3, a woman placed 28 pairs of jeans in a shopping cart at Nordstrom at 350 Walt Whitman Rd. and left the cart at the front of the store. Two men walked by a short time later and fled with the jeans in the cart.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS (8477). All calls will be kept confidential.
