Forecast: Sunny Sunday, with rain possible late on Halloween

A mild and sunny weekend will turn cloudy for Halloween on Monday, with a slight chance of rain Halloween night, according to the National Weather Service.
But daytime trick-or-treaters should not expect a washout on Monday. During the daytime it is only expected to be mostly cloudy although there is a 40% chance of rain Monday night. The high temperature is expected to be about 64 degrees. The normal high for the date in Islip is just 59 degrees.
Meanwhile, revelers taking part in pre-Halloween celebrations can enjoy clear weather on Sunday.
Sunday will be sunny with a high temperature near 62 degrees, according to the weather service.
There is also a 40% chance of precipitation on Tuesday but the rest of the week through Friday is expected to be mostly sunny. The high temperatures from Tuesday to Friday are expected to be in the mid 60s.
