Meteorologists expect high temperatures in the 80s Saturday, July 25, 2015, with partly cloudy skies in the evening and a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight.

It's a sunny Saturday on Long Island -- and skies will stay bright most of the day, according to the National Weather Service.

The lows are forecast to be in the 60s. There's a 20 percent chance of rain Saturday and Sunday nights.

The weather service predicts a mostly cloudy Sunday, with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms Sunday and high temperatures in the lower 80s.
