The quote

"I owe a lot to my dad," D'Angelo said. "He has worked with me since I was little, always giving me advice. He has helped me a lot in the game."

Fundamentals

D'Angelo has been playing baseball since the age of 4 and believes that it is most important to remain calm and be confident. He finds his strength in his ability to be headstrong and if he allows a hit he shows no emotion. He has recently found his confidence by staying after practice to take extra swings and is motivated to play better since the Mustangs just won their first league title in baseball in school history.

What's next

D'Angelo will be playing baseball for St. Thomas Aquinas in Sparkhill, N.Y. next year and looks forward to playing for the LI Titans this summer.
