First-place Nats keep rolling

Ross Detwiler and three relievers combined on a four-hitter and Rick Ankiel homered and had three hits as the host Washington Nationals defeated the Florida Marlins, 2-0, on Friday. Detwiler (2-0) allowed three hits in six innings and struck out seven as the Nationals improved to 11-4. Miami had its four-game winning streak snapped.

Dodgers 3, Astros 1: Matt Kemp hit his eighth home run for visiting Los Angeles. The two-run shot also gives him 20 RBIs. Ted Lilly (2-0) allowed one run and four in six innings as the Dodgers improved to 11-3.

Rockies 4, Brewers 3: Michael Cuddyer hit a tiebreaking RBI single off closer John Axford in the ninth inning for visiting Colorado. Norichika Aoki hit an inside-the-park home run for Milwaukee in the fourth, the first major-league homer for the former Japanese baseball batting champion.
