Marco Rubio has been trying a new tactic lately, trying to be as rude and crude as Donald Gasbag.

It brought some chuckles, but after tonight, it might not mean much.

The Florida senator is not gaining traction.

If he does poorly tonight on Super Tuesday - it is doubtful he will win any of the 12 primaries - he is just about toast.

Two weeks from now, he has the Florida primary. But because Rubio trails the gasbag by double digits, he is probably going to lose badly in his home state.

Rubio has tried to make second- and third-place finishes sound like victories, but people aren’t buying it.

His new aggressive campaign has raised a few eyebrows, but it comes across as forced and phony.

Fact is, nothing hurts the gasbag among his no information followers.

People should be repulsed at Trump’s reaction to the KKK controversy, saying he had a bad earpiece and misunderstood the question.

What garbage.

If he doesn’t know who David Duke is, if he doesn’t know what the KKK is, he should go back to school.

But nothing hurts gasbag, because his gullible supporters think he is going to make them rich.

Earth to Trump groupies: He doesn’t care about you. He cares about himself. And he has no chance to win in the fall.

But neither does Rubio unless he somehow shows he can be strong tonight and in the Florida primary.
