Former Gov. David A. Paterson lauded Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo on Monday for getting key legislation passed in Albany, and Cuomo jokingly revealed the secret of his success:
The exchange:
“All of your predecessors, whether they admit it or not, are silently roaring approval or we’re all scratching our heads to figure out how you’ve done this,” Paterson said to Cuomo on the former governor’s WOR radio show.
Cuomo replied, “Large quantities of alcohol late at night with multiple lawmakers.”
Hmmm. Wonder what he serves... Craft beer for New York breweries the legislators just gave tax breaks to, Empire State wines, or harder stuff ... ?
