Even though the Federal Communications Commission approves, airlines should soundly reject the idea of cellphones on flights.

It’s annoying enough to sit in the waiting area with the motormouths on their cells. You finally get on your plane, hoping to relax, and then there is the crying baby, the small child kicking the back of the seat, and the passenger in the window seat trampling over you.

If cellphones are allowed, then I will take the train, the bus or a boat.
