Letter: ‘Princesses’ offers disturbing picture

I was horrified after watching Bravo’s “Princesses: Long Island” reality TV show .
All it showed was the luxuries these women afford themselves. It showed nothing of their careers or ambition. It showed nothing sincere about religious commitment, except for a mention of Shabbat.
This show is a wrongful depiction of the Jewish people. I raised two daughters in Baldwin. Yes, they both love the finer things in life and have many luxuries, but they’re also college graduates, have admirable careers, are married, read avidly, support charities, respect their religion and are loving individuals.
This program paints a disturbing picture of the Jewish women of Long Island. How can we get it off the air?
