Letter: Southwest system can work well

In answer to “Southwest seating process discouraging” , I have flown Southwest Airlines out of Long Island MacArthur Airport three to four times a year. One can pay $15 for “early bird” seating. Also, I log on to my computer within 24 hours of flight time, and the system usually assigns me to an A seating, or at the very least a B.
I find the ease of this system far outweighs the hour ride and expensive charge to fly out of Kennedy Airport.
