Reopen the investigation of the explosion of TWA Flight 800 .
Anything that pointed to a residue of explosives or the sequence of events that suggested a missile hit was hushed up and dismissed from the initial report.
My husband and I were in our driveway that evening in 1996 and saw two missiles shooting upward in the sky. We lived in Valley Stream, very close to Kennedy Airport. All week before that night, we noticed fighter jets doing maneuvers above our area. When we heard news of the explosion, we immediately called the FBI and explained what we saw. The response was, “Thank you for the call.” After that, we were never contacted.
As children of the ’60s, we have seen far too many government cover-ups. It’s about time that officials come clean.
