The Food Network refused to renew Paula Deen’s contract because of her use of a disagreeable word. If the Food Network were serious in its righteousness, it should demand that any viewer who has also spoken that word should not be watching the Food Network.

Why is it that some people openly use the “N-word” among themselves and all the time, often addressing each other as such, but when a white person uses it, he or she is a racist? Paula Deen should not lose her job because of this overblown issue.
