Musings: Recalling the life that we've lived

A lot of older baby boomers are getting closer to their last days, so we need to make time once a week to reflect on our lives. To sit down in a quiet place in our home and, for a few minutes, remember the good times we had in our 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s.
When I recall certain moments, it brings smiles to my face. From racquetball with a buddy to all the softball and golf my body could muster over the years.
And let’s not forget the great friends we have made along the way. Or the shows and music that we’ll always remember.
Most important is to talk about the past with a spouse or maybe a good buddy over a beer. It’s refreshing and it reminds us of what we could do when young, not to mention it could prompt a good laugh. Hang out with friends once in a while.
With many of us in our 70s rounding third base in the game of life, take a few minutes to reflect on the life we’ve lived.
