Musings: Groups save money on Broadway

I can understand the economic reasons for people curtailing their trips to see a Broadway show. With the rising cost of tickets and train fares, it can be cost-prohibitive.
One way to ease the expenses would be group trips. I take my high school drama and acting class into the city to see shows several times a year. With a group of at least 10, the tickets are more affordable, and sometimes service fees can be waived. Prices depend on a show’s popularity.
Add in the community feeling of experiencing a show together, and it makes it all worthwhile. You can take your family or friends and get back to Broadway.
