Newsday's editorial "Nassau's woes even bleaker" [April 15] reinforces what we know after watching Nassau County fall into the financial abyss.
The only way to fix Nassau is to start over. Turn over the management to the three towns, their incorporated villages and the two cities. Study whether we really need a county government.
Based on the state of the county, it is obvious that the current governing body cannot get it done.
