Letter: Forced to sign up on health care exchange

The fact that many are signing up for health care is tempered by the fact that most are forced to ["Thousands in NY sign up for insurance on deadline day," News, April 2].

After many years, the company I work for notified all of its employees and retirees that health care coverage will cease on Aug. 1, which means that I am forced to go to an exchange. This is not something I would like to do.
