I’m 75 years old, retired, and I guess I must be getting crabby. I find it bad enough that the waiter (not the runner who actually does the work and doesn’t see a tip) will come back twice or thrice to ask if we’re enjoying our food. I always find this somewhat comical, as I try to gesticulate toward my full mouth in the affirmative.

I had my blood drawn recently. I was given a flyer to rate the provider’s performance on the Labcorp website.

There was the Verizon man, who came by to fix a dead telephone line. I received a notice from Verizon to rate his performance and the company’s. Would I recommend him to a friend?

How’s this for a new one? As I’m busily trying to scan some personal medical records to send out, the process is interrupted by HP. Am I enjoying working with the HP scanner? Really? REALLY? Too much. TOO MUCH! Please stop groveling for compliments.

By the way, if you like this, text my phone a thumbs-up!
