Driving on Sunrise Highway in Oakdale on May 30, I experienced the biggest fear of my life after 55 years of driving — I got a flat tire. A good Samaritan motioned for me to pull over. He said he feared my tire could catch fire. Out of the goodness of his heart, he risked his life on Sunrise Highway to change my tire.

I don’t know what I would have done if he hadn’t stopped to help me. I am so grateful to that man, Luis.
