Musings: Etiquette memo for beach fans

I am an avid beachgoer to Field 6 at Jones Beach. Many who go to the beach should be reminded of important “Beach Etiquette.” Large signs are needed for entrances to Field 6. They should read, perhaps with a “Please” in front of each line:
- Respect all of the people at the beach.
- No loud music.
- No smoking.
- No loud cellphone use.
- Use receptacles for personal trash.
In the parking lot, avoid damaging cars by being careful when moving your belongings.
Then, everyone can have happy days at Jones Beach or any beach, for that matter.
