Just Sayin’: Roads worse for winter wear

With winter almost behind us, I recommend that government officials take a ride around and see the condition of many roads, with potholes that seem to have been overlooked.
A good example is Peninsula Boulevard from Sunrise Highway to Southern State Parkway. It looks like some areas were corrected and redone, and then others were forgotten about — just north of Merrick Road on Peninsula, for example.
The Atlantic Beach Bridge collects tolls along Route 878, which also needs repair. Please don’t tell me the state doesn’t have any money.
