With what seems like endless tragic news here and abroad, I found the photo of Tom Waring of Ronkonkoma and his 20 grandchildren, taken by reader Kim Pace, also of Ronkonkoma, a true classic [News, Dec. 23]. It's a good time of year to reflect and be thankful for what we have in our lives -- hopefully, health, happiness and family. Keeping a positive mindset and always moving forward.
