Hopefully, politics can be put aside, and the officials can do what’s right for the Island [“A smart bet for Long Island,” Editorial, April 3].
Let’s do what’s right and ask the Islanders to come back now to the Coliseum. It’s obvious that the Barclays Center solution is not working. The fans hate having the Islanders in Brooklyn, the team is not in love with it, and the layout is terrible.
Let’s bring back the intensity of the 2014-15 season. The Old Barn was rocking. Let’s bring that feeling back.
