How could the Long Island Rail Road bus passengers on the Ronkonkoma line the weekend of October 30? ["A real sports jam," News, Oct. 30]

There were three major events in New York City over that weekend, and the busing caused inconvenience for thousands of customers.

We had the World Series, the Halloween parade and the marathon. Didn't the LIRR know these events were happening? Terrible coordination.
