Letter: Casinos won't fill state coffers

Casinos might be a source of income for the state, but will my state income tax or property taxes be reduced a proportionate amount? I'm not holding my breath ["Push for casinos," News, May 10].
The state will take that money and spend it. There will be no benefit to the average taxpayer because no amount of money is enough for liberal politicians to spend.
