Letter: Constant Ebola talk is unsettling

It's getting very tiresome listening to politicians and doctors telling us that there is nothing to worry about concerning the spread of Ebola ["New Yorkers refuse to panic," News, Oct. 25].
If there is truly nothing to worry about, then why are we being constantly told so? A cold virus is nothing to worry about, but this virus can be deadly.
The only way that Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo and Mayor Bill de Blasio can be truly believable would be for them to hold a news conference in a room with an Ebola patient in attendance. Now that would provide some proof that we have nothing to worry about.
