Letter: Dems' statements are intolerant

For the sake of brevity, allow me to paraphrase three political stories that appeared in Newsday.
1. Hillary Clinton states that pro-life Republicans appear to be terrorists ["Clinton likens GOP views on women to terror groups,' " News, Aug. 28].
2. President Barack Obama states that if his Iran deal isn't approved, it will mean that the only alternative is war and that the Senate Republicans should be blamed ["Obama: Deal or 'war,' " News, Aug. 6].
3. U.S. Rep. Steve Israel (D-Huntington) proclaims to CNN that Republicans have a dark side: racism ["Israel: Racism in GOP halts immigration bill," News, April 14, 2014].
But I am a pro-life Republican, and I certainly don't consider myself to be a racist, warmongering terrorist!
Is it possible that these three Democratic paragons of moderation and tolerance could be wrong?
