It is unconscionable that you should report, concerning the death in an Israeli prison of Arafat Jaradat, that Israel says more tests are needed to determine the cause of death ["Palestinian's death fuels tension," News, Feb. 25].
The Palestinian Authority, on the other hand, claims that Jaradat died as a result of torture during interrogation. The Palestinians have absolutely no evidence to back up their claims.
