Name a community that has flourished because of a gaming casino [“Casino clash at legislature,” News, Jan. 26].
Floral Park is a community of single-family residences. Its schools border the racetrack. A 24-7 environment of gambling would ruin the village.
Put it in Mineola on Franklin Avenue, next to our county executive’s offices.
