Letter: Enforce pedestrian safety regulations

While I certainly applaud initiatives to reduce traffic-related pedestrian deaths, I feel that some attention should be placed on educating law enforcement officials about pedestrians ["Full speed ahead on slowing it down," News, July 21].
All of the attention is placed on revising traffic laws and enforcing laws that apply to drivers. Most drivers have seen pedestrians act dangerously, too.
