Letter: Enforce the traffic laws we have now

If the police gave tickets to all the people who run stop signs in my neighborhood, they wouldn’t need to raise fees [“Top cop touts $105 ticket fee,” News, Oct. 14]. Also, the Nassau County budget would have a surplus.
In the old days, more than 30 years ago, people took pride in driving safely.
