Letter: Fire teacher who insulted Trump fans

Smithtown High School West teacher Veronica Welsh should be fired for calling supporters of Donald Trump racist [“Swipe at Trump fans gets teacher shifted,” News, Sept. 23].
If she blatantly writes her biased opinions on Facebook, we can imagine what she is teaching students. Everyone knows there is a double standard when it comes to liberals. They get a free pass. The board of education should do the right thing and fire this teacher. She has no right imposing her bigoted political opinion on her students.
