Letter: Global warming cartoon irritates

As usual, your ultraliberal political cartoonist has left important facts out of his piece mocking people who disagree with him [Opinion, Dec. 16].
Matt Davies pictures a loutish-looking character whose shirt reads “Global warming is a HOAX.” What Davies left out of that slogan were the words “man-made.”
Many people disagree with the concept of “man-made global warming.”
Few people deny that global warming exists. The climate has been changing since the Earth was created, long before man happened on the scene. Man’s contribution to climate change has never been proven to my satisfaction.
