Letter: Hard to agree with this picture of Islam

I disagree with Opinion page writer Manal Omar's thoughts on religion .
She paints a rosy picture of Islam while the Islamic State group paints a very different one. ISIS blows up airplanes, shoots its way through Paris and subjects its conquered women to sexual slavery.
It's too bad that Omar chose not to mention that. Maybe we will better understand her message after the world has ended the ISIS brand of religion.
