Letter: Holocaust film was based on fact

In an article that mentions the Holocaust film "Defiance," the writer describes it as "a wish fulfillment movie" .
"Wish fulfillment" refers to dreams and fantasies, not reality. The events of the film -- the Jewish Bielski brothers forming a partisan army to fight Nazis and rescue more than 1,200 Jews -- were fact, not fiction.
