Letter: Horseshoe crabs over-harvested

I've witnessed the delivery of truckloads of horseshoe crabs headed for Delaware and Maryland for use as blue claw crab bait ["Valuable horseshoe crabs have earned a closer look," Editorial, July 27].
When I ask where they come from, it's always, "Long Island."
