JFK renovation won’t handle 2050 needs
I have to question your headline “Soaring Vision for JFK” [News, Oct. 5].
Kennedy Airport’s passenger volume is projected to reach 100 million a year by 2050. This renovation, due to be complete in 2025, will increase passenger-handling capacity to only 75 million a year.
This seems short-sighted. We will have to rebuild the airport not long after this project is completed. Where is the logic?
