Here's an idea I bet the Long Island Rail Road and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority haven't thought of ["Tracking down federal funds," News, Sept. 16]:

Why not track down the millions of dollars in false disability claims, and build three tracks instead of two? That would secure our regional transportation future, and maybe then they could leave us taxpayers alone for a change.
