Fire Island chief ranger Lena Koschmann stated that it would be difficult to issue tickets to nude sunbathers, since many do not carry identification ["Nude LI sunbathers will have to cover up," News, Feb. 27].

To me, this is a no-brainer. Slap handcuffs on them and lock them up nude until someone can produce identification. Or keep disposable jumpsuits at the beach, then slap cuffs on them and lock them up until someone can produce identification.
