Letter: Make Rocky Point boulder a landmark

I question why we should spend money on a rock that has historical significance [“Push to save ancient rock,” News, Dec. 4]. Why not designate the giant ancient rock in Rocky Point a historic landmark? I believe this could be done at no cost to the taxpayers.
