Why is Nassau County Comptroller George Maragos making a big splash about refusing to pay Armor Correctional Health Services [“Nassau halts payment,” News, Aug. 2]?
Hasn’t he been doing his due diligence, in accordance with the Nassau County charter, since he took office in 2010? As Nassau County’s alleged fiscal watchdog, it doesn’t seem so.
