The Justice Department is challenging the merger of American Airlines and U.S. Airways, after allowing so many others in the industry to consolidate ["Merger blocked," News, Aug. 14].

The government should look into Southwest Airlines taking over Long Island MacArthur Airport, seemingly forcing out all the competition and then cutting back on most of its flights while raising fares.

Where is the justice there?
