Some motorcyclists seem to think it's exciting to race along our highways at speeds greater than normal, and change lanes without regard ["2 killed in weekend collisions," News, July 29]. They seem to pay no mind to traffic patterns, speed limits or lane-change laws.

I have seen law enforcement officers ticket some of these drivers, as they should. Racing motorcycles without regard for other drivers is as unlawful and as dangerous as car racing.
