Newsday's profiles of the 258 Sept. 11 victims who lived on Long Island were inspirational and compassionate tributes ["For some, grief still overwhelms," News, Dec. 30].
Each one provided a unique perspective on those who perished and those who struggle daily to rise above such a stunningly swift and tragic loss. They were also written with a great deal of care and respect. Congratulations on such an extraordinary series.
