Letter: No flag behind candidate Donald Trump

People asked why Donald Trump didn’t have an American flag behind him when he met with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto [“Symbolism takes flight in Mexico and Cuba,” Editorial, Sept. 1].
Trump most certainly does not represent the United States or our values. He doesn’t represent me. A Republican Party banner would have been OK, but not the flag of my country.
