Once again, National Grid's gas customers on Long Island get a slap in the face ["Grid to pay $1.67M fine," News, July 20]. We get rate increases and surcharges approved by the state Public Service Commission, and it took them eight years to discover this violation?
How about we have the commission give us back this $1.67 million as a retroactive credit? We can all use this money that was taken from us when the utility cried poverty.
