Had the Suffolk County Legislature voted for this bill, it would have been another instance of government spending time and effort on a problem that doesn't exist ["Suffolk: No need for new gas signs," News, Sept. 10].

Different prices for cash or credit are posted on the pump itself. If you don't want to pay the price, simply go to the next station down the street. It doesn't take all that long to determine which stations to avoid.
