Letter: Restore pitch-and-putt at Jones Beach

I'm grateful that Donald Trump abandoned his plan to build a mammoth catering hall on the boardwalk of Jones Beach.
However, it's a pity that the state parks department has allowed the property that once was a very pleasant pitch-and-putt golf course to fall into utter disrepair.
The state should restore this facility to its rightful use.
