It was disappointing to see a summer school geometry teacher dressed in flip-flops, rumpled shorts and a T-shirt [“Joining forces,” News, July 26]. Was he teaching a high school math class or did he stop off on the way to the beach?

As a teacher, you are constantly imprinting behavior in young people. It’s no surprise that my clients have so much trouble finding employees who know how to dress appropriately for the job.
