Letter: Sister Jackie's death is a loss

Newsday's coverage of the tragic death of Sister Jackie Walsh was superb [" 'She had faith,' " News, July 15]. Newsday captured the response of so many people affected by her sudden loss.
And, indeed, it was a loss to St. Edward the Confessor Church in Syosset, the community of the Sisters of Mercy, and the staff and students of Our Lady of Mercy Academy in Syosset.
