Letter: 'Vatican' garb disrespectful

I was completely disappointed with the headline and large accompanying photo of Nicki Minaj and the "date" she took to the Grammy Awards. "Say Hallelujah: You've gotta love the fun of the Grammy red carpet" [Explore LI, Feb. 13] was in extremely poor taste.
I can't believe that the editors of Newsday thought costumes that ridicule my religion were "fun." To show this celebrity and a man, both wearing "Vatican-themed ensembles," was as low as you could go.
